URGENT UPDATE on 1/30 transport

The transport of dogs/puppies may be delayed or a no show.  Please call TLC to find out the status of the transport.
Here is the email we got this AM:
Hi Everyone,

I am so sorry but there are MANY changes for today's transport.  There are many dogs and pups that could not get to the transport pick up due to the severe snow and ice storms in Kentucky.  We did have some of our groups who normally drive 2 hours to get their dogs and puppies to us drive ALL NIGHT long so that they would be there.  They risked their lives to save the babies and I respect them for that.  That being said one of our volunteers was stuck in a snow bank and had to wait to be pulled out.  The dogs will be going into foster care for one week and will be arriving next Saturday.

I am sorry for any inconvenience that this has caused.

Due to the severity of the weather; I am not expecting our transport before 1:30 today.  I will be getting updates from Chris as he hopefully will be getting out of the bad weather quickly.  Keep in mind that they do not have salt nor snow plows so this is pretty dramatic for them.

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAD CHOSEN SUNDAY ARRIVALS.....THAT TRANSPORT HAS BEEN CANCELED AND THE DOGS AND PUPPIES WILL LIKELY NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE.

If you have questions or problems please let me know.

Thanks so much!

Happy Ending for Teddy (formerly Minnow)

Dear TLC Staff,

We wanted to reach out and let you know that Teddy (previously Minnow) the 4 year old beagle/boston terrier mix who we adotped from TLC right before Christmas is settling into his new home wonderfully. That might have something to do with the fact that he is a little spoiled by his new family, but we try to keep it to a minimum. He loves curling up on the couch with us when it gets cold outside, and when the weather isn't too bad he gets excited to go on a run with Cate, his marathon-ing mom. So far Teddy is up to 3 miles and loves every minute of it. He's been a real joy to have in the house and we wanted to let you and his previous owners know that he is doing well. However we know that he probably misses his brother Marlin and we were hoping that you could pass a message along to his brother's new family that any time he wants a playdate we would be happy to meet up for a family reunion (feel free to send our contact information over). Also, should Marlin ever be looking for a new home, he is always welcome to come join Teddy! Our most heartfelt thanks to the TLC staff for introducing us to Teddy!

Sincerely,

The Conroy Family
