Franklin E. Dunn Age 78 passed away Monday October 25, 2010. A lifelong resident of Homer Township; and last family descendent of Hickory Grove Centennial Farm. Franklin served Homer Township in a variety of rolls where he worked as a local farmer, highway commissioner and longtime asst. fire chief. Franklin was a member in the NRA, Will County Highway CommissionerAssociation and was committed to the welfare of animals especially his dogs. Franklin is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, many dear friends and his dog Spike. Franklin is preceded in death by his parents; William and Martha Dunn. Siblings Margaret Bokoski, Clara Boyce, William Dunn, Edward Dunn, Grace Dunn and Donald Dunn. Family will receive friends Saturday, October 30, 2010. 1 6 pm at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S Hamilton, Lockport, IL. In lieu of flowers Franklin and his family have asked donations are made in his memory to TLC animal shelter, 13016 W 151st St. Homer Glen, IL. Interment will be private.
