Hi TLC friends,
It's been a little over 2 years since we got our dog, Otis, from your shelter and we are happy to report he is an excellent dog. He is smart, gentle, playful, athletic and an overall very socialized, well-adjusted member of our family. Living in Chicago, we enjoy much of our summer weekends on a lake in WI where Otis swims, chases ducks, goes on walks and has a blast. In the winter, he loves bounding around in the snow and joins his regular pack at the dog park every day to play with his own friends. People often ask us where we got him, so impressed by his qualities and we always proudly tell them.
Almost a year ago, we had baby Mason. Otis has been a model companion to him also. They play with toys together, Otis tolerates being pulled and slapped, and gives only licks in return. A person once said that he seems to have a motherly, nurturing instinct about him and I had to agree.
Anyway, we just wanted to let you know how thankful we are that he turned out to be so good. He has enriched our lives. "Otis the dog is the man" reports Tom. Thanks for all your hard work at the shelter.
